Big Brother release was like jumping out of airplane. Lot of work has been done in last minutes and it wouldn’t be so without best team in the skies working their brains and fingers out on code

Had a birthday today. Feeling quite old now at 26… No matter.

Mates at work have really surprised me with their present. I got a… well … kind of horny dog. I believe the present has to be somewhat connected with my personality

I also got a couple of toilet paper roles with SuDoKu puzzles printed on the sheets so now I’ll have to work out some brain too when dumping on toilet

After work, Jan and Rok surprised me with their visit, so we went to Roll bar with Samo and they raced go-karts. Samo won. After we had a drink and a chat. I can’t drive yet because my shoulder still hurts from the accident I had.
Finally I got home, had to setup a new laptop for a customer and in the meanwhile I’ve been watching Rambo on Kanal-A. Funny

Not to forget, thank you all that have remembered my birthday and sent me SMSs or greet me in a way. It feels nice
I have to go send some emails and then take a rest. I’m an old lad now…

Samo and I woke up at about 12h. Next was the usual procedure - go and have a lunch. Sundays are the days when I see my mother because I don’t live with her. So every Sunday at least one of my friends joins and we have a “family” lunch.

The afternoon was reserved for lovemaking, evening for dinner we made and ate with my Tanja. And now is the night, let’s get some rest. This week will be tense. 14.3. we’re launching Big Brother and there is still plenty to do…

I was spending some hour today for transfering data from Excel file to MySQL. I decided to write VBA macro that will write a sqldump file for me since I had three worksheets of about 20K rows and some 5-10 columns each. And I had to fill that data in 4 different MySQL tabels. So LOAD DATA INFILE was really not an option.

Well the thing is that the task was really simple, but the stupid windows registry on my updated XP was driving me crazy. In VBA macro, I was receiving runtime errors when I was trying to use Scripting.FileSystemObject which I needed for making a file…

On anybody’s behalf, there is a command regsrv32.exe %windir%\system32\scrrun.dll which will register the Scripting.FileSystemObject in your registry and from there on, you can browse it your VBA macro editor from options->references to enable it in your procedure. Worked for me

Then Jan and me went for a lunch. That passed today’s hacking and the database is populated.

Now Samo is comming. My father got a son yesterday - and I got a step brother named Juš so we have to grab some beer
